Intersex Unicorn

Ugh, don’t be jealous.  It’s seriously not fun.  I didn’t even think it was possible.  I just kinda thought, “Hey, so I guess kids aren’t really an option, so I won’t have to deal with the periods too!”

I didn’t know what was going on.  I thought maybe I had a flu or maybe some mild food poisoning or something.  I took sick leave from work.  The first time I thought it was just me adjusting to hormones and blew it off.  The second time I had a concern because I’d been on hormones for a while and should have adjusted.  The third time I was considering going to an urgent care facility or a hospital.

I thought to myself, “I don’t know what’s going on but this just feels wrong.  I just can’t keep getting sick like this every… month…. OH SHIT!” and then realized it was every 28 days.

Now I’m stuck using ladytimer because I just can’t keep track of it.  It’s not like I was a few years late getting my period, it was like 20 years late.  I’m all an adult and trying to keep up with when four weeks pass.  Of course then some times it’s a couple of days early or late.  FML

It seriously blows.
